What we collect about you, why we need it, and who else sees it. Written for the shipping we actually do.

What we collect

Your name, mobile number and email address, and the delivery address you give us in the Maldives.

For each shipment: what you declare it to be, the supplier or merchant it came from, the invoice value, the dimensions and weight our warehouse measures, photographs of the cartons, and the transfer slip you upload to pay for it.

Your mobile number is also how you sign in. We send a one-time code to it; we never ask for a password.

Why we hold it

To receive your goods at origin and match them to you, to price and invoice the freight, to book space on a departure, to make the customs declaration, and to deliver to you in the Maldives.

We message you at each step — booked, received, in transit, cleared, out for delivery — on the number you registered. These are messages about your own shipment, not marketing.

Who else sees it

Our warehouse teams at origin, the carriers and airlines that move your cargo, and the customs brokers and couriers who clear and deliver it.

Maldives Customs receives a declaration for every consignment, made under our business consignee. That declaration includes the description and the declared value of your goods, because the law requires it.

We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone who is not part of moving your shipment.

How long we keep it

Shipment, invoice and customs records are kept for as long as accounting and customs rules require us to be able to produce them.

Carton photographs are kept with the shipment record they belong to.

Correcting or removing your details

Message or call us and we will correct anything wrong on your account. If you want your account closed, tell us and we will close it — except where a record has to be kept for customs or accounting.
